*Survey about US!*

Holly tagged me to do this a while ago and I forgot, (I know, you're all just SHOCKED) so I'm gonna do it now because I think its kinda fun.....nobody ever thinks to ask these questions, but they're fun to know about your friends!!

What are your middle names?
Me: Don't have one!! Really. My parents didn't give me one so I could keep Price as part of my name. So I guess Price is my middle name now. ;)
Matt: Lee

How long have you been together?
We have been married for three years, but he has pretty much had my heart since 2003.

How did you meet?
We met at the High School when there was a stomp going on. Matt was talking with some friends, and I was with Kendra and she needed to talk to his friend. So while that was going on, Matt and I decided to talk to each other......and the rest is history!

How long did you know each other before you started dating?
Well, we weren't ever technically dating each other until after his mission. And that was a big, scary deal for me cuz I had never exclusively dated someone before. I liked to play the field. ;)

Who asked who out first?
I asked Matt first....Sadie Hawkin's dance!

How old are each of you?
I am 23 and he is 24....until June!

Whose sibling do/did you see the most?
Hmmm......probably mine. But, that's only one sibling right now cuz Adam is on a mission. He'll be home in July though, and then it will be HIS turn to get to know Matt better! Adam always like Matt though....I thought he was gonna drop-kick me when I was trying to decide if I should marry Matt! haha

Do you have any children together?
Nope, not yet!

What about pets?
Oh yes, we have our darling/hideous little black pug named Fergi!

Did you go to the same school?
Yes, we went to the same High School

Are you from the same hometown?
Yep!

Who is smarter?
Ha! What a question to get ya in trouble!! Matt is really good at Math, so he'll be the one helping the kids with that. ;)

Who is more sensitive?
Ya know, I think we're about equal. He is awesome and very considerate of my feelings, and it's nice to not have to worry if your hubby is going to be exasperated with you for being emotional about something. He's the best. :)

Where do you eat out most as a couple?
Olive Garden, Winger's, Chili's (those last two are mostly because they're close)

Where is the furthest you two have traveled together?
The Carribbean. Awesome honeymoon, baby!!

Who has the craziest ex?
Him. I didn't date crazy people. ;) haha (Sarah, I know YOU agree with me on this!!)

Who has the worse temper?
haha, DEFINITELY ME!!!!

Who does the cooking?
ME! Now and then he'll bust out the chicken and the griddle, but not as often as I would like. ;)

Who is more social?
We're about equal on this. We both have our moods when we are feeling really social, and when we are feeling really antisocial. I guess it's the Gemini in us.

Who is the neat freak?
Matt. That's all I'm gonna say on that.

Who is more stubborn?
It depends on the topic, but usually me. I'll admit it.

Who hogs the bed?
I think we have gotten used to each other now and that isn't so much of a problem anymore. Yay! ;)

Who wakes up earlier?
Oh my H, definitely Matt!!

Where was your first date?
Sadie Hawkins dance. We explored a part of the old Indian Schools, drove out to Corrinne to look at the stars, had pizza at my parent's house and went to the dance. Yeah, it was clever.

Who has the bigger family?
Matt. There are 5 kids in his family, and most of them are married and have kids now. I have two brothers, and they're both too little to be married or daddys.

Do you get flowers often?
I don't think I would say OFTEN, but he has suprised me on several occasions. I love flowers, and I think he wants to keep it that way. ;)

How do you spend the holidays?
It's crazy and hectic and I love it!! My side of the family still does lots of parties, so when you add his family to the mix, that equals lots of celebrating!! I wouldn't have it any other way, really.

Who is more jealous?
We don't really get jealous. We both know that we have the other so totally hooked, there's no need to be jealous.

How long did it take to get serious?
haha, for me or for him??!! It took Matt like, 5 minutes after he came home.....Me, a little longer. haha

Who eats more?
Matt. That's good.

Who does the laundry?
Me most of the time. If he knows he needs something, he'll usually throw it in if I haven't already.

Who's better with the computer?
Um.....we'll go with Matt. He's better with Excel.

Who drives when you are together?
We trade off. He usually does, but I know when he doesn't feel like it, so that's when I drive.

*Boring*

I have been dying for something exciting to happen to me lately that could be considered blog-worthy, but things aren't going my way!! Hopefully I'll get to Lee's play soon so I can blog about his physical and vocal beauty, but not yet. I'm seriously so bored with my life right now!
Starting today, I have decided to seriously boot camp myself!!! I would like to lose at least 20 pounds before Adam gets home this July so he can actually recognize me -- SAD that he wouldn't if he saw me now! So I plan to go to Lady Fitness and use my Turbo Jam every day but weekends, and hope that I start seeing results so I can continue to be motivated. If you live in the Ogden area and are interested in getting a membership to Lady Fitness and want a workout buddy, let me know!! We all know that going to the gym is much more fun if you have a friend to go with, and I could really use one. I need all the help I can get! Any tips??
I'm also selling AVON now. It's all a part of my big plan.....that I hope will all go according to the plan. But who knows....my plans have been completely thrown off before, so I'm not holding my breath. I don't have the time to get into "The Plan" right now, but maybe sometime in the future I will tell all about it. It's all because of a book...... Anyway.....if you live in the Ogden or Brigham area and want to look at an AVON book, let me know. Seriously, their makeup is such a great deal, and its really good quality. If nothing else, buy some bubble bath!!! Who doesn't love AVON bubble bath? I don't know.....

P.S. I'm ready for spring and fetchin sick of the snow!!!

*A Different Kind of Anniversary*

I have decided that March just isn't my month. Nearly every difficult thing that has happened to me since I got married has happened in the stupid month of March! I am happy to report that I am doing fine, and I am amazed at how quickly a throat can heal. My pain wasn't too bad -- the most annoying/obnoxious part of the whole ordeal is how I feel on lortab. I'm not a fan of hallucinating, so I can't quite understand why people pay good money and risk incarceration just for the pleasure of the experience. I seriously. don't. get. it. So don't mark me as a fan of lortab! I can't WAIT to be off it!!

One of the reasons I have decided that March just isn't my month is the other reason for this post. Today marks the 3 year anniversary of Matt's accident. Yeah, I just had my 3 year wedding anniversary, so that means this happened less than a month after we were married! And I'm not talkin' a fender-bender! He was on his way home from a gruelling day of plumbing work on Highway 89 when, for reasons still unknown, he crossed into on-coming traffic and was in a head-on collision. It was a mess. I never actually saw the scene of the accident, but I did see the plumbing truck a few days later, and I have no idea why Matt still has legs. Numerous people have told me that they expected both Matt and especially Shane to be dead when they came upon the accident. I found out shortly after that my brother's seminary teacher was one of the first people on the scene, and was the person who was giving blessings. How grateful I am for the Priesthood and for a community who calls upon it!! He told me that when he got there, he decided to pass the two trucks because he was certain that the people inside were dead -- until they moved. It was a horrendous scene. Matt still can't remember 5 minutes before the accident, and it makes him crazy. He REALLY wants to know what went wrong. Unfortunately, that will probably be something we will have to wait to know until after this life.

There are so many things that we learned from this experience, but there are 2 major ones that stick out the most. #1, how incredibly grateful we are for the BLESSING of being sealed in the temple. I was terrified of getting married for this exact scenario. I was afraid of losing. But Heavenly Father told me it was the right thing and that I would be ok, and I was. I would have fully expected to be totally hysterical at the hospital, but I wasn't. I was shocked that I wasn't. Nurses were shocked that I wasn't! The only explanation I could find was that I was being comforted by the fact that IF something was terribly wrong, we would still be together. That really is the most incredible comfort in the world, and I couldn't imagine trying to live my life without it. #2, how grateful we are for being surrounded by worthy Priesthood holders. We had more people than we could use, and do you honestly know how wonderful that feels? To know that you couldn't possibly run out of options of people who would be there for you at any moment to give you a blessing?! It is INCREDIBLE. Thank you so much to all of the people around us (even complete strangers) who gave up time, energy, and emotions for us, and who lived their lives in such a way that they could be our angels.

I also want to say a special thank you to my dad. He was supposed to go on a Nascar vacation while my mom and brother were gone to NYC with the choir, and he stayed home to be with me. I remember every detail of how wonderful he was, because I don't think I could have survived it without him. I really can't thank you enough for being there for me to lean on and cry on, and I love you dearly! :)
So, 3 years later and Matt is still walkin strong! Needless to say, I wasn't a happy camper when I woke up this morning and saw the weather. I think Matt's about had it with me telling him to drive safely today!! haha! ;) YOU drive safely too!

*Say A Little Prayer For MEEEEE!*

On Wednesday, March 4, 2009, I will be getting my throat chopped at....to get my tonsils out! And I guess, if they have to, they're going to scrape off my adnoids....whatever the H that is! So, I won't be able to speak for a while, let alone SING, and I won't be able to swallow very well, so I will be MISERABLE!! Not so good for a girl who considers two of her favorite things to be singing and eating good food. And laughing, which I guess will probably hurt too. Dang. At least I get to eat ice cream and watch movies all day in bed. I suppose that's a plus. But it's still gonna hurt like the fetching dickens!! And I'm scared. Really scared!
So say a little prayer for me. And if you don't pray, now is a good time to start!! I'll need all the good healing vibes I can get.........bye-bye tonsils..........I won't miss how you make me sick all the time.............
